Book Week

Book Week 2011 - One World One Story

Children's Book Week is an opportunity for all of us to celebrate great Australian children's books. At the Blacktown City Libraries we had a special storytelling event and colourful displays at each library branch.

A fun and entertaining storytelling evening was held at Max Webber Library on Thursday 25 August. Over 60 children, parents and grandparents attended the event to participate in storytelling of three of the short listed books and many other stories from around the world.

The night was a huge success with many happy parents and children saying that they can't wait for the next storytelling event at the library.
