Visitors to any branch of the Blacktown City Libraries will find the following services available:
Trained staff to assist you in using the Library.
Photocopying facilities:
All branches of the Blacktown City Council Library Service offer coin-operated black and white photocopying facilities. Max Webber Library, Blacktown also offers colour photocopying facilities. Copies are available in both A4 and A3 sizes.
- Colour copier - located in the Reference section at Max Webber Library.
- Black and white copiers - located at all branches, in the Reference section and on the ground floor at Max Webber Library.
- Various fees are applicable depending upon the type of copy required.
Fax:
Public fax service available for sending facsimiles. Variable fees apply depending upon destination and number of pages.
Daily Newspapers:
All branches of the Blacktown City Council Library Service receive the Sydney Morning Herald on a daily basis.
The Max Webber Library, Blacktown, also receives the Daily Telegraph, The Australian and The Financial Review each day.
In addition there are a number of local newspapers published in the City:
The Blacktown Advocate, The Western Weekender (Blacktown City Guardian), The Blacktown Sun, The Mt Druitt-St Marys Standard and The St Marys Sun.

Bound back issues of the Blacktown Advocate and The Blacktown Sun are available at Max Webber Library, Blacktown. The previous six months' issues of The Blacktown Advocate, The Western Weekender (Blacktown City Guardian) and The Blacktown Sun are held at Max Webber Library, Blacktown. Content is indexed by Local Studies staff to assist you in locating articles and information in these newspapers.
Print Resources:
All print resources, from children's picture books, to novels, to magazines, to encyclopedias may be used in the library. Seating and study tables are available at each branch.
Justices of the Peace (JP)
The Blacktown City Libraries have, with the assistance of volunteers, scheduled times for the residents of Blacktown City to access NSW Registered Justices of the Peace.
